Maple Imperial Stout Pancakes


  • 125mL The Mountie Maple Imperial Stout
  • 1/2 cup full cream milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • butter


  1. Lightly beat eggs in a large mixing bowl. Slowly mix in The Mountie Maple Imperial Stout, milk, vanilla and coconut oil
  2. In a separate bowl, sift flour, salt, and baking soda. Whisk together until well combined. 
  3. Combine the dry and wet mixtures and mix into a smooth batter. 
  4. Heat a non-stick frypan on medium heat and coat with butter. Pour 1/4 cup scoops of pancake mixture into the pan and cook on both sides until golden brown. 
  5. Serve hot with a glass of The Mountie Maple Imperial Stout.
