Using more than 40% oats and unmalted wheat, Mr Fruju has a velvety mouthfeel with significant haze. Unlike other IPA’s, we’ve chosen not to add hops during the boil, instead holding these back until whirlpool, to get the highest concentration possible and still deliver a pretty low 40 IBU’s using a combination of Amarillo, Ella and Galaxy hops. We then dry hop in two separate doses, first in early fermentation with Amarillo, Ella & Citra then followed by late fermentation with Mosaic, Galaxy & Citra.

This beer is so tropical in nature it works with classic breakfast dishes as much as it does a burger and fries. So grab an all day breakfast for lunch and pair Fruju with a big brekky! For something a little closer to the coast, try a bucket of freshly shelled prawns with a Thousand Island sauce or a piece of grilled snapper with parsley and a squeeze of lemon.
